Quality and Performance

A better building is about more than what you can see. It’s how well it’s made, how it performs and how it feels to live, work or learn in every day.

Performance you can feel

Comfort throughout the year

A carefully designed building envelope helps manage moisture and minimise unwanted air leakage, contributing to more consistent indoor temperatures and greater comfort throughout the year.

Warmer in winter, cooler in summer

Our external wall systems uses 140 mm-deep studs with R4.0 insulation, compared with R2.0 insulation commonly used in conventional 90 mm wall framing.

Higher levels of insulation help reduce heat transfer through the building envelope, supporting more comfortable indoor temperatures and reducing heating and cooling demand.

Lower impact by design

Making better use of materials

Manufacturing in a controlled factory environment allows us to plan and optimise material use. Where possible, offcuts can be reused across components and projects, helping reduce waste and make better use of resources.

Reducing embodied carbon

Using engineered timber can offer embodied carbon advantages over more carbon-intensive structural materials. By considering material selection, quantities and manufacturing efficiency from the outset, we can identify opportunities to reduce a building’s environmental impact before it is occupied.

“Clients often come to modular construction for the speed, but once they experience the manufacturing process, they realise the real value is certainty in project delivery.”
